FBPD to be presented with $8K check

The check will be presented by Heroes First Home Loans on Aug. 30.

Sam Royer, director of Flagler Beach's Heroes First Home Loans, will present an $8,000 check to the Flagler Beach Police Department at 6 p.m. Thursday, Aug. 30, in conjunction with the company's one-year anniversary ribbon cutting, according to a news release.

The event will be held at their co-working office in Flagler Beach, located at 712 S. Ocean Shore Blvd.

The company has donated over $30,000 to first responder organizations as well as veteran’s groups in the area over the last year. The event will include music, food and drinks provided by Terranova’s Restaurant and Pizzeria, and drawings for a variety of giveaways.
