Kristen Elaine Westbrook, 29, was killed when she lost control of her Dodge pickup truck 9:30 a.m. Nov. 17, on State Road 100, east of Deen Road, in Bunnell. She was the second Flagler County resident to be killed in a traffic incident in 24 hours.
The Florida Highway Patrol report states Westbrook crossed the centerline and crossed into the front of a Ford pickup driven by Timothy Lee Gould, 38, with Alan C. Chase Jr., 28, in the passenger seat.
Both men are from Bunnell; both sustained minor injuries. They were also both wearing seatbelts. Westbrook was not wearing a seatbelt, according to the report.
Westbrook’s truck overturned, and Gould’s came to rest in a water-filled ditch. Both vehicles were totaled. Westbrook died at the hospital.
