Epic Church invited its members out for an afternoon of food, fun and fellowship Sunday, May 1, at Wadsworth Park.
The event included a bring-your-own picnic, playground time and a giant game of softball.
“We do Epic at the Park for the chance for our church family to get to know each other better,” said the Rev. Trent Schake. “It provides that community aspect for us. Doing life together is a big part of the Christian life.”
But mostly, Scheke said, the outing is all about having fun.
