Hammock Wine and Cheese hosts The Accomplices live
The Accomplices, a low-country string band from Savannah, Ga., will play at Hammock Wine and Cheese Oct. 3.

They are a unique rock and groove-based blue-grass band with overtones of jazz and Bohemian country. With guitars, upright bass, percussion, mandolin, and fiddle, their playing is one cross-genre blend of musical style and influence.

Other music at the shop this weekend is 5-8 p.m. on the following dates: Oct. 4, Keys of D's; Oct. 5, Elisha Parris; and Oct. 6, Bill St. John.

Family Bike Rodeo featured at Oct. Food Truck Tuesday
A Family Bike Rodeo will be featured at Palm Coast’s Food Truck Tuesdays event 5-8 p.m. Tuesday, Oct. 15, at Central Park in Town Center.

Participants should bring a bicycle to go through a Bike Safety Course (helmet required), conducted by Flagler County Sheriff’s Office. Bike helmets will be available to participating children while supplies last. Bike registrations will be offered through the Frank Celico Foundation. The Family Bike Rodeo is free for all ages, but participants must bring their own bicycles.

The Food Truck event will feature 11 food trucks – mobile kitchens, canteens and catering trucks that offer gourmet foods, including appetizers, main dishes, side dishes and desserts. Foods to be featured this month include Japanese cuisine, Hawaiian/vegan dishes, Latin food, regional American, fish and chips, Portuguese cuisine, barbecue and desserts.

Proceeds from October’s Food Truck Tuesdays event will go to the Frank Celico Foundation, which was formed in 2011 in memory of Sgt. Frank Celico. The foundation is dedicated to keeping Celico’s memory alive through bicycle safety programs, bike helmets and the donation of bicycles to the children of Flagler County.

Also this month, nonperishable food items will be accepted in preparation for this fall’s Feed Flagler.
Food Truck Tuesdays is presented by the city of Palm Coast, Kix Country 98.7 FM and Beach 92.7 FM on the third Tuesday of every month.
