Flagler County is pleased to welcome Dolores Key as its economic development manager, who brings with her a wealth of experience and successes in South Florida.

“We are so fortunate to have Ms. Key join our team here in Flagler,” said Tourism Development Director Amy Lukasik. “She secured a $1.38 million from the U.S. Department of Commerce Economic Development Administration for infrastructure improvements to the commerce park in Lake Worth Beach where she last worked.”

Key forged strategic alliances with both the Business Development Board of Palm Beach County and the Lake Worth Community Redevelopment Agency that resulted in the two companies relocating their headquarters to Lake Worth Beach – creating 95 jobs.

She won two international awards from the International Economic Development Council, and multiple awards from the City-County Communications and Marketing Association (3CMA).

“Ms. Key’s skill set and expertise are phenomenal,” Lukasik said. “This just scratches the surface when it comes to her accomplishments.”

Key has been familiarizing herself with Flagler County since beginning in mid-September.

“Flagler County is such a lovely place,” she said. “I am thrilled to be here, and I look forward to working with the business community to build on the great things already in place.”
