Detectives search for runaway teen

UPDATE (1:40 p.m. Jan. 22): Dawson King was safely located by Flagler Sheriff’s deputies and returned to his parents.

The following is an adapted Jan. 20 news release from the Flagler County Sheriff's Office:

The Flagler County Sheriff’s Office is attempting to locate 15-year-old Dawson Blaine King, of 47 Westmount Lane in Palm Coast.

The teen was reportedly last seen at home the afternoon of Thursday, Jan. 15.

He is a frequent runaway, is believed to frequent the “B” section of Palm Coast and may be staying at a home on Rivera Lane.

King is a white male, 5 feet,11 inches tall and 140 pounds. He has blond hair.

Anyone who has seen King is asked to call the Flagler County Sheriff’s Office at 386-313-4911 in reference to case number 2015-5662.
