Sheriff's detectives are seeking information on a man who robbed the Wells Fargo Bank at 836 Belle Terre Parkway in Town Center the afternoon of Oct. 12.

The robbery happened at 1:54 p.m., when the robber — a slender white man about 6 feet tall and in his 20s or 30s with a light beard, wearing a denim baseball cap, blue jeans and a white or pale pink shirt — walked up to a teller and implied that he had a weapon.

He fled in a black or maroon Buick Encore with an unknown amount of money, according to a Sheriff's Office news release. No one was injured. The Buick was reported stolen in Massachusetts, and had the dealer tag number 265S.
