Deputies seek help IDing Publix liquor thieves

Two women were caught on camera stealing a $44 bottle of Patron Silver tequila and a $27 gift set of Grey Goose vodka.

The following is a news release from the Flagler County Sheriff's Office:

Flagler County Sheriff’s Office deputies are investigating a theft of liquor that occurred Sunday, Dec. 13 at the Publix at 4950 Palm Coast Parkway, in the Belle Terre Crossings shopping center.

Surveillance video shows two suspects who entered the store around 5 p.m. Each concealed a bottle of liquor in a bag and left the store without paying.

A bottle of Patron Silver tequila valued at $43.99 and a gift set of Grey Goose vodka valued at $26.99 were stolen.

One suspect is described as a black female, having a lighter complexion, and the second suspect is a black female with a darker complexion, wearing glasses. The pair is believed to have left the store in a red SUV. They may be linked to other cases in Volusia County.

Tipsters can also call Crime Stoppers at 888- 277-8477. Crime Stoppers tipsters can remain anonymous and may be eligible for a reward of up to $1,000.
