PALM COAST — Whether in the ocean or on the Internet, parents should know where their children are surfing, according to Flagler County Sheriff’s Office.
The Sheriff’s Office is partnering with the Flagler County Library to present a program on cyber-bullying 1:30 p.m. Saturday, April 16, in the Library’s Garden Room.
Flagler Palm Coast High School’s School Resource Deputy Calvin Grant will present the 30-minute program that will include a question-and-answer session.
School students, parents and guardians are invited to attend.
“This is an important topic in today’s ever-growing use of the Internet and social
networking sites,” said Flagler County Sheriff Donald W. Fleming.
Free copies of “ComputerCop,” a computer program that allows parents to keep track of where their children are going on the Internet, will be provided.
