The Flagler Beach Farmer’s Market is now offering $1 and $5 wooden tokens to enable customers the ability to use credit cards at the market.

The use of wooden tokens is a fast growing trend among farmer's markets throughout the country, according to a press release from the market. 

Gift certificates for the Flagler Beach Farmer’s Market are also now available at the new info booth located on the east side of the market, at the corner of State Road 100 and State Road A1A, Flagler Beach.

The certificates will be for sale 8 a.m. to 1 p.m. Fridays, and 9 a.m. to 1 p.m. Saturdays, at the market, as well as seven days a week at Z Wave Surf Shop, which is at the corner of South Fourth Street and A1A. Call 439-9283.

Cash and all major credit cards are accepted to purchase gift certificates and tokens that are then redeemed with any vendor at the market. Gift certificates must be redeemed at the Farmer’s Market info booth for tokens.

Reusable shopping bags and Flagler Beach Farmer’s Market T-shirts will also be available soon.
