Sept. 17

Tow-tally Ignorant

7 p.m., Canal Avenue and Candleberry Street, Palm Coast

Reckless Driver. Five different all-terrain vehicles were spotted by patrolling deputies. Three were pulled over while the other two made off in another direction, and the deputies called for a tow. According to the incident report, the drivers were "concerned;" they've been driving ATVs on public roads since 1990, apparently, and entirely unaware it was illegal. A supervisor was called, the law was explained and the ATVs were towed.
