Missing purse?
11:47 a.m. — Palm Avenue/Village Drive, Flagler Beach. Property Found/Lost. A purse was found on the side of the road at the intersection listed above. The owner of the purse was identified and several attempts to contact her were made without success. The only items of value inside were her driver’s license and debit card, and all have been submitted into evidence for safekeeping.
The shinning
9:49 p.m. — 1000 Block of Rymfire Drive. Larceny. A female advised that she was at the skate park when she got hit in the shin with a skateboard. She set her purse down on the sidewalk and entered the playground area to sit on a bench and elevate her leg. When she returned to her purse, she discovered that her digital camera (worth $50), $30 in cash and a pill bottle containing oxycodone (worth $80) were all missing. There are no witnesses or suspects.

Left it all in the stall
3:14 p.m. — 5000 Block of East State Road 100. Larceny Shoplifting. An employee stated he was reviewing video surveillance at a store for July 15 when he observed an unknown male enter the electronics department and begin looking for an AT&T touch screen cell phone, valued at approximately $124.99. The suspect removed something from his pocket to cut the item off its anti-theft hook and began to walk to the front of the store and into the bathroom. The male was then seen exiting the bathroom without the packaging and left the store without paying for the merchandise. The empty package to the cell phone was found later in the bathroom.

5:39 p.m. — First Block of Kingswood Drive. Larceny-Motor Vehicle. A victim advised that someone had gone into her vehicle while she was at a restaurant. When she returned home, she discovered that her gym bag was not in the vehicle where she had left it. The bag had been in the trunk and contained clothing, makeup, a wallet and a learner’s permit, all of which belonged to her 17-year-old daughter. The vehicle had been left unsecured and showed no signs of forced entry or damage. The bag and its contents are valued at approximately $255.
