Stole cold
12:51 p.m. — 4000 Block of Clove Avenue. Larceny. An employee from maintenance management reported that two air conditioners, valued at approximately $6,800 each, were taken by an unknown person by unknown means.

He stated that his company asked him to enter the house to see if there were other items missing from the home. Upon entry, he found that the water heater, valued at $850, and 15 light fixtures, valued at $29 each, were also missing.

The employee was unable to provide information on the property owner, but stated he can contact company headquarters to receive it. A neighbor stated that the previous tenants left the residence in July 2011, but was unable to provide a current address for them.

Windshieldgate
3:14 p.m. — 4000 Block of Belle Terre Parkway. Property damage. A complainant stated she had arrived to work at approximately 11 a.m. on this date and exited the store at approximately 2:50 p.m. When she returned to her vehicle, she found the rear window shattered but still intact.

Upon further examination, it appeared that some of the glass had begun to fall apart around the edges, and that the origin of the damage started with a very small dimple in the middle of the window, toward the top. It did not appear as if someone struck the window with a fist; the cause of damage is unknown. A video tape of the incident is unobtainable.
