Dec. 11
Weight a minute ...
9:40 a.m. — County Road 207 and County Road 108. Larceny. A man stated that a crew stopped working at approximately 6 p.m. Friday, Dec. 10. Upon returning to work the following morning, the crew realized the weights from three tractors were missing.
 

The total amount to replace the weights is approximately $5,000. The crew does not know who might have done this, and there have been other various pieces of equipment damaged or taken from this location recently.
 

Police made contact with a salvage yard to see if any items matching the description were turned in, but met with negative results.

Dec. 13
The door was framed!
3:20 p.m. — 100 Block of Frankford Lane. Burglary. A victim stated that when he went to open the front door, he noticed that the doorframe was broken around the locks. The man advised that he does not think anyone got into his home because he still had to unlock the door to get in, and nothing was taken. Police spoke with several neighbors, and no one observed or heard anything suspicious. There are no suspects at this time.

Tag-nab-it
1 p.m. — 5500 Block of Walnut Avenue, Bunnell. Stolen Tag. A man stated that at 5:30 p.m., Dec. 9, he last saw the tag on the back of his black trailer. It was parked in the driveway of his residence. The man stated someone took the tag off his trailer and that he did not see the incident in progress. There are no suspects at this time.

Radar detector speeds away
1:30 p.m. — First Block of Woodford Place. Larceny Motor Vehicle. An unknown suspect entered a man’s unlocked vehicle and stole multiple items. The man advised police that his wallet was stolen, containing his driver’s license, three debit and credit cards, and $160 dollars in cash. Also stolen were an iPod, a GPS unit, a radar detector and a cell phone. There are no suspects at this time.
 

LOSING THE BATTLE AND THE WARDROBE

Dec. 11
Sizing up the thief
9:45 a.m. — 1200 Block of Elder Street, Bunnell. Larceny. A man stated there were a few bags of new clothing were stolen from the cab of his Chevrolet Silverado. The victims stated they went to bed at approximately 12:30 a.m. and went out to the truck around 10:00 a.m. and realized the bags were gone.
 

The truck was left unsecured within those hours, and the items totaled approximately $240. Missing from the truck are two pairs of blue jeans, size 7; one pair of black leggings, size medium; one pair of black stiletto boots, size 9; one black jacket, size large; one black-and-silver sweater, size medium; two green tops, size medium; one silver top, size medium; one striped top, size medium.
 

The man believes he saw footprints leading from the truck to a neighbor’s home. They know this man to be a troublemaker and that he could have done this. The suspect told police he knew nothinag of the incident. There is no additional information at this time.
