... until they’re stolen
6:01 p.m. — First Block of Slogan Court. Burglary residential. A victim advised that an unknown person by unknown means broke into his residence between 8 a.m. and 6 p.m. on this date. There was an unlocked window in the back bedroom, but it is unknown whether the window was left unlocked by the victim. There were no signs of forced entry.
The items stolen include one Sony PS3 and controller, one Nintendo Wii and miscellaneous accessories, one camcorder, one HP laptop and one 24-karat gold air ratchet in a wooden box. The total value of the items is $1,810.
There are no witnesses or suspects at this time, and no evidence was able to be collected.

Woman steals man’s wallet
9:42 a.m. — First Block of Cypress Point Parkway. Larceny. A man stated that he was in the checkout line when he became distracted by his children and set his wallet on the counter, where he forgot about it.
There was only one customer in line behind him, a female in her late 30s. The surveillance video shows that the woman can be seen picking the wallet up and looking around before placing it in her inside jacket pocket.
The victim stated that the wallet was black in color and contained his Florida ID card, Social Security card and debit card.
Drawers on the floor
6:30 p.m. — 6500 Block of Hibiscus Street. Burglary residential. A victim advised that when she returned to her residence on this date, she noticed the blinds were messed up and the lights were on inside. When she walked into the residence, she noticed it was ransacked. Every room had been rummaged through, with drawers on the floor and items strewn all over. She also noticied tire tracks that led to the back of the residence.
The glass on the back patio door was broken and the door was ajar. No evidence could be found. The victim advised there were multiple items missing, and she will complile a list to enter them as stolen.
Cash money?
8:52 a.m. — 1200 Block of Palm Coast Parkway Northeast. Fraud. The head cashier met with a deputy in regards to a counterfeit $5 bill which she had discovered in the register till the previous night.
She performed the counterfeit pen test on the bill, and it tests positive for being a fake. She has no idea who passed the bill or at what cash register it was used. The bill was confiscated and placed into evidence.
Make like a leafy substance and leave
11:31 a.m. — 5500 Block of Belle Terre Parkway. Narcotics. A deputy responded to the elementary school in regard to a suspicious green leafy substance found in a plastic baggie in the back parking lot.
When a teacher had arrived at work that morning, he found the baggie in the parking lot and brought it to the school’s principal, who then called the Sheriff’s Office.
The substance tested positive for marijuana. It was confiscated and placed into evidence. It is unknown who brought the substance onto campus, but a lieutenant visited the campus later in the day to assist administration with the incident.

Why so serious?
5:50 p.m. — 4900 Block of Belle Terre Parkway. Larceny shoplifting. A store manager advised that he observed a female concealing items under her purse that was sitting in the shopping basket. She passed through a point of sale without paying for the items, completed her transaction and exited the store.
The manager stated that she appeared nervous and looked at him multiple times during the incident to see if he was looking in her direction. The total value of the hidden items was $53.33. The woman was placed under arrest for retail theft, and released with a notice to appear.
