A 37-year-old convicted sexual predator has moved to Flagler County, according to a Flagler County Sheriff’s Office news release.

The man, Dorian Buzz Coppedge, is homeless, with no permanent address. He is 6 feet, 3 inches tall and weighs about 175 pounds.

Coppedge was convicted in September 1999 for lewd assault/sexual battery on a victim less than 16, in August 2011 for unlawful sexual activity with certain minors 16-17 years of age and in June 2016 for failing to register as a sexual offender, according to the news release.

He is now classified as a sexual predator and registered under Florida law.

“It’s the policy of the Flagler County Sheriff’s Office to notify our community when a registered sexual predator moves to our county," Sheriff Jim Manfre said in the news release. "This includes notifying the local news media, Flagler County schools and all day-care centers.”
