Palm Coast resident Gregory Scott Thilesen apparently didn’t take to heart the old adage about the customer always being right: When his complained, he pulled a gun.

The victim told deputies Thilesen, 22, was working on the victim’s home on Island Estates Parkway on the afternoon of Sept. 13 when the two began arguing about Thilesen's work, acccoding to an arrest affidavit.

The victim told police he asked Thilesen to leave, and prepared to call his boss. Thilesen walked out to his car and came back with a gun, he said, and then pointed it at the victim, screaming “Who’s the victim now!” Then he yelled at the victim, “Call 911!” The victim did.

When deputies pulled up at outside home at about 5:15 p.m., the victim was standing outside. He pointed at a black Mazda parked along the street and yelled, “That’s the guy with the gun.”

Thilesen, in the Mazda’s driver’s seat, raised his hands at deputies’ orders and let them search his car. They found an unloaded 9mm Luger semiautomatic pistol in the glove compartment and two full magazine in the center console.

As a deputy ran a computer check for prior arrests or outstanding warrants, Thilesen yelled at the victim, “Do you think you accomplished something?”

Thilesen was arrested and booked at the Flagler County jail on charges of aggravated assault with a deadly weapon and improper display of a firearm.
