Concert Series to launch at European Village

The Courtyard Concert Series at European Village presented by Bounce The Cat, will begin Saturday, Jan. 12. The first night will feature music Volusia County blues guitarist James Crouch with special guest keyboardist Dan Walters, Alan Colvin on bass, Scott Corwin on drums, and singer Dina Madeiros.

The concert begins at 8 p.m.

The series will continue with blues guitarist extraordinaire John D'Amato from Nashville, Friday, Jan. 18 and the Southern Rock Show Band, Diablo Canyon Friday, Feb 1. More concerts are to be announced. This is a free concert series and is open to all ages.

Crouch has performed with The Tokens, The Dovells, The Shirelles, and Bobby Lewis. As a solo performer, he has shared the stage with Eddie Money, Marshall Tucker, Blue Oyster Cult, Bachman-Turner Overdrive, Jimmy Thackery, The Nighthawks, Brian Howe - former singer for Bad Company, Bo Diddley, Molly Hatchet, Rick Derringer and Tommy Tutone.

Other weekend events are:
Library Birthday Celebration — 1:30 p.m. at the Flagler County Public Library, 2500 Palm Coast Pkwy. N.W. Everyone is welcome. Entertainment by Music Fusion. Cake and light refreshments included. Call 446-6763

Second Saturday Gamble Jam — 2 p.m. at Gamble Rogers Memorial State Recreation Area at Flagler Beach, 3100 S. Ocean Shore Blvd. Musicians of all skill levels are encouraged to bring instruments and a chair to join the circle for a casual, acoustic jam session. Visit floridastateparks.org/gamblerogers.
