Flagler County on Feb. 28 will resume sidewalk reconstruction of Colbert Lane between State Road 100 and Roberts Road. The repairs will begin at State Road 100 and head north to the Roberts Road intersection.

“Crews will remove areas of damaged sidewalk, re-frame the section, and finish the concrete work,” said Road and Bridge Manager Ryan Prevatt. “It will be nice to complete this work.”

Flagler County has finished about 77% of the total 3,300 feet of sidewalk. Road and Bridge began sidewalk reconstruction work north of the Grand Haven community, and to date about $54,000 has been spent on materials for the project.

Additionally, sidewalk crews have replaced about 100 feet of damaged sidewalk on Roberts Road.

“Walkers and Bicyclists in the area should expect intermittent sidewalk closures,” Prevatt said. “We are sorry about the inconvenience to residents and appreciate everyone’s patience.”
