Church promotes positive body image

The Women’s Ministry of Mount Calvary Baptist Church will host a one-day workshop, “A GIRL Thing for Christ.” The theme, “My Body Belongs to God,” will focus on self-esteem and body image, teen violence, sex and sexuality, spiritual awareness, and peer pressure for girls ages 5 to 18.

There will be a time of contemporary praise, worship in addition to female speakers.

Workshops will be split into age appropriate messages. Participants are encouraged to pre-register at www.mtcalavrypc.org. Registration deadline is Sunday, July 3.
