'We are proud of each of these outstanding young people,' Operator Glen Efford said.
Chick-fil-A Palm Coast Operator Glen Efford spent his Saturday afternoon awarding Chick-fil-A Remarkable Futures Scholarships.
Five team members were selected and awarded over $12,500 on May 16.
The recipients were Gianna LaBarbera, Keilee Gocking, Maria Sadio, Keisha Ocasio and Kale Britton. This is Britton’s and Gocking’s second year receiving the scholarship.
Chick-fil-A Scholarships began when founder Truett Cathy set a mayonnaise jar on his first restaurant counter to help a team member pursue his dream of a college education. Since 1973, Chick-fil-A has helped over 59,000 team members achieve remarkable futures through a total investment of $92 million in scholarships.
“We are proud of each of these outstanding young people,” Efford said. “They represent the best of our youth today. They are hardworking, dedicated and display care in everything they do. Simply put, they are remarkable.”
