For the second time in school history, the Matanzas boys tennis team has captured the St. Johns River Athletic Conference championship.

The Pirates took the title after knocking off Fleming Island on Tuesday, 4-2.

Davey Roberts, Nick Petrillo and Jason Legall remain unbeaten this season, winning all of their singles and doubles matches.

As a team, the Pirates (6-1) are undefeated in district and conference play.
