Joe and Teresa Nacci celebrated their 50th wedding anniversary Oct. 24, with friends, family, food and music.
They were married in 1962, in Bari, Italy. The lovebirds met when Joe was delivering a pair of shoes and first caught a glimpse of Teresa. After a three-month courtship, they were married surrounded by friends and family.
Meet Mr. and Mrs. Carvalho
Erin Knight, daughter of Kerri and Barry Markey, and Luis Carvalho, son of Maria Carvalho, married Sept. 8, at the Club at Hammock Beach.
“We met at work, and it was like one of those sappy love-at-first-site instances,” Erin said.
The two were seeing each other for a few months until Luis finally asked Erin to be his girlfriend Sept. 8. The relationship blossomed from there and Sept. 8 continues to be a special day for them.
