Friday, Oct. 5

Be ready to vote

When: noon to 1 p.m.

Where: Flagler County Public Library, 2500 Palm Coast Parkway NE

Cost: Free

Details: The public is invited a constitutional amendment presentation, sponsored by the League of Women Voters, to learn about the amendments that will be on the November ballot.

 

Freaky Fridays

When: 5-10:30 p.m.

Where: Palm Coast Community Center, 305 Palm Coast Parkway NE

Cost: $15/first child and $5/additional sibling (in the same transaction)

Details: Parents, do you need a date night or just wish for peace and quiet around the house on a Friday night? Let the city of Palm Coast watch your kids, ages 5-12, so you can have a night to yourselves. Kids will eat pizza, play games and watch movies. Other dates include Nov. 2 and Dec. 7. Movies in the Park: 'Cars 3'

When: 7:15 p.m.

Where: Central Park in Town Center, 975 Central Ave.

Details: “Cars 3” will show for a family-friendly movie night on the big screen by the lake. Movies in the Park are presented by Palm Coast Parks and Recreation and Flagler Schools. Saturday, Oct. 13

AAUW Flagler candidate forum

When: 11 a.m.

Where: Pine Lakes Country Club, 400 Pine Lakes Parkway

Cost: Lunch is available for $17

Details: The American Association of University Women Flagler will welcome candidates seeking office of Attorney General, Florida House Representative District 24, Flagler County Commission, Flagler County School Board and Palm Coast City Council to its monthly meeting. Family Life Center Masquerade Gala

When: 6 p.m.

Where: The Club at Hammock Beach, 200 Ocean Crest Drive

Cost: $125 per ticket

Details: The Family Life Center, a Flagler County nonprofit that works to serve victims of domestic violence and sexual assault, will host the fundraising night with Dr. Earl Johnson as the master of ceremonies.
