Thursday, Feb. 22-25

City Repertory Theatre presents 'Macbeth'

When: 6 p.m. Thursday, Feb. 22; 7 p.m. Friday, Feb. 23 and Saturday, Feb. 24; 2 p.m. Sunday, Feb. 25

Where: Palm Coast Arts Foundation, 1500 Central Ave.

Cost: Opening night is $50 for PCAF/CRT members, $75 general public; Other shows cost $25 for PCAF/CRT members and $30 for general public; $10 for students with student ID

Details: For the county's inaugural Shakespeare in the Park, City Repertory Theatre has partnered with Palm Coast Arts Foundation for four performances of one of William Shakespeare's tragedy, Macbeth. Tickets to opening night include appetizers, two drink tickets and an opportunity to meet the actors. Tickets can be purchased online at palmcoastartsfoundation.com/events. Call 225-4394.

 

Saturday, Feb. 24, and Sunday, Feb. 25

Native American Festival

When: 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. 

Where: Princess Place Preserve, 2500 Princess Place Road

Cost: $5 per person; $10 per carload 

Details: The fourth-annual will feature dancing, weapons demonstrations, wildlife exhibits, encampments and displays.

 

Monday, Feb. 26

African American Entrepreneurs Club networking event

Compassionate Friends meeting

When: 5:30 p.m.

Where: the nonprofit’s new location at 4 N. Old Kings Road

Cost: Free

Women in Business PowHER Panel Luncheon

When: 11:30 a.m. to 1 p.m.

Where: Hilton Garden Inn, 55 Town Center Blvd

Cost: Registration for Chamber members is $35 with advance registration or $40 the day of the event. Guests may attend for $45 advance registration or $55 day of the event.

Details: Deadline to register is the morning of Monday, Feb. 26. The luncheon will provide excellent networking opportunities while featuring dynamic speakers and fascinating subject matter to empower, inspire and enlighten guests. ‘The Nerd’

When: 7:30 p.m. Thursday, Friday and Saturday shows, and 2 p.m. Sunday shows

Where: Flagler Playhouse, 301 E. Moody Blvd.

Cost: $25, student tickets are $20

Details: Set in Terra Haute, Indiana in 1979, “The Nerd" centers on the hilarious dilemma of a young architect who is visited by the man who saved his life in Vietnam. Show dates are: March 2, 3, 4, 8, 9, 10, 11, 16, 17 and 18. Visit FlaglerPlayhouse.com, or call the box office at 586-0773.

Spring Break Camps

When: Parks and Recreation camp is 7:30 a.m. to 4:30 p.m.; Tennis camp is 9 a.m. to 1 p.m.

Where: Frieda Zamba Pool classroom; Palm Coast Tennis Center

Cost: $75/week for Parks and Recreation camp; $150/week for tennis camp

Details: The city of Palm Coast is planning two spring break camp options to get children outside and active. The camps will be held during the week of March 12-16, with the Parks and Recreation Spring Break Camp based at Frieda Zamba Pool classroom and the Youth Tennis Camp held at Palm Coast Tennis Center. Registration is open until the camps are full: palmcoastgov.com/camps. The Parks and Recreation camp is for kindergarten to sixth grade. Tennis camp is for kids age 6 to 14.
