Movie and Pizza Party (Adaptive Recreation)

When: 6-9 p.m.

Where: Palm Coast Community Center, 305 Palm Coast Parkway NE

Cost: Free

Details: Enjoy a movie and pizza party. This free adaptive recreation program is intended for youth and adults with intellectual disabilities. Call Parks & Recreation at 986-2323.

 

Dive-in Movies

When: 8 p.m.

Where: Palm Coast Aquatics Center, 339 Parkview Drive

Cost: Free

Details: Just bring your swimsuit and enjoy the show. Dive-in movie nights at the Palm Coast Aquatics Center provides a unique outdoor movie viewing experience for the entire family.! Youth Fishing Derby

When: 8 a.m. to 1 p.m.

Where: Waterfront Park, 150 Waterfront Park Road

Cost: Free

Details: Come out for a day of family, fun, food and catch-and-release fishing. Youth will be eligible for various prizes based on different categories. Youth must be accompanied by an adult. Any adult actively assisting a youth must have a fishing license. Art open house

When: 6 p.m.

Where: Salvo Art House, 802 E. Moody Blvd., Bunnell

Cost: Free

Details: Join the artists at Salvo Arthouse this for the monthly open house, which will feature guest artist Gary Greene In The Schreiner Memorial Room. Greene is an excellent Watercolor artist. Gary and his wife Pat will be moving to Maine shortly after the exhibit, so if you know them make sure to come and wish them well. All studios will be open. There will be live music in the back parking lot.

New Jersey Club meeting

When: 1 p.m.

Where: Palm Coast Community Center, 305 Palm Coast Parkway NE

Cost: Free

Details: The New Jersey Social Club of Palm Coast will hold its monthly meeting. Anyone who has lived in New Jersey is welcome. The club sponsors many trips and activities throughout the year. The club meets on the fourth Wednesday of the month. The guest speaker this month will discuss Seniors vs. Crime. Refreshments will be served.

‘Facing Grief Together’ meeting

When: 5:30-6:30 p.m.

Where: VITAS office, 4 Old Kings Road N.

Cost: Free

Details: Facing Grief Together (formerly known as the Compassionate Friends), a nonprofit self-help bereavement support organization, welcomes any parent, grandparent and sibling over age 18 who have suffered the loss of a child of any age. Call John Brady at 610-428-3139.

Brave-Aid Golf Tournament

When: 9 a.m. shotgun start

Where: Pine Lakes Golf Club, 400 Pine Lakes Parkway

Cost: $70/player

Details: The annual two-player challenge golf tournament is open to men and women. Money collected stay in the Flagler/Volusia area to benefit Brave-Aid, which helps wounded veterans. Closest to the pin prizes. Event is two-player teams. Cost includes round of golf with cart, lunch and Bloody Marys. Raffles and silent auctions will be offered. Tournament will be handicap adjusted; valid, verifiable handicap required. Donation checks can be made out to: BRAVE-AID INC. Call 445-0852 to register.
