Friday, July 5

'A Midsummer Madness'

When: 7:30 p.m. Friday and Saturday, July 5 and 6; 3 p.m. Sunday, 7

Where: City Repertory Theatre, 160 Cypress Point Parkway, Suite B207

Cost: $15

Details: For one weekend only, City Repertory Theatre's young stars gather to create and perform an ensemble work based on the lines of the immortal Bard. Clemson Club’s inaugural beach bash

When: 8 a.m.

Where: meeting at Flagler Beach Pier, 105 S. Second St., Flagler Beach

Cost: Free

Details: Clemson University alumni and fans are welcome to attend the Greater Daytona/Flagler Beach Clemson Club’s inaugural beach bash. Flagler Beach Mayor Linda Provencher will read a proclamation, and there will be music, speakers on beach conservation, a beach cleanup and more. After the cleanup, guests are invited to breakfast at Tortuga’s.

 

Painters meeting

When: 9 a.m. to 3 p.m.

Where: Flagler Women's Club, 1524 Central Ave., Flagler Beach

Details: The Palm Coast Decorative Painters monthly meeting starts at 9 am, followed by the scheduled workshop/seminar. All levels of painters are welcome to any of the meetings. For more information, and to RSVP, call Lee Fasnacht at 597-3020.

FIFA World Cup Finals Watch Party

When: 11 a.m.

Where: Palm Coast Community Center, 305 Palm Coast Parkway NE

Cost: $1/person

Details: The FIFA World Cup is here again. Join the city of Palm Coast to watch the finals match to see which country is crowned best in the world. Monday, July 8

Mountain Biking Camp

When: 8:30-11:30 a.m. Monday to Friday, July 8-12

Where: locations vary

Cost: $50/week.

Details: Participants will learn basic off-road bike skills, explore and maintain trails, improve fitness and understand the importance of teamwork and goal setting. Trail location will vary throughout week between Mala Compra and Graham Swamp. Check the website for exact locations by date. For ages 11-18 years. Registration required at www.parksandrec.fun/camps. All Sports Camp

When: 8 a.m. to 5 p.m. Monday-Friday, July 8-12

Where: Palm Coast Aquatics Center, 339 Parkview Drive

Cost: $80/week

Details: Campers will spend their days playing football, soccer, kickball, dodgeball, ultimate Frisbee, pool time and more. Lunch is provided at no extra charge by the Flagler County School District. Women in business luncheon

When: 11:30 a.m. to 1 p.m.

Where: Hilton Garden Inn, 55 Town Center Blvd.

Cost: $35 for Chamber members; $45 for public

Details: The Flagler County Chamber and the Chamber's Professional Women's Council will welcome world-renowned body-language expert Susan Constantine as a guest speaker for the Fearless & Focused Women in Business Luncheon. Pre-register http://business.flaglerchamber.org/events/.

 

Saturday, July 13

Supervisor of Elections to speak

When: 9:30-10:30 a.m.

Where: African American Cultural Society, 4422 N. US Highway 1

Cost: Free

Details: Flagler County Supervisor of Elections Kaiti Lenhart will discuss election issues, including amendment four, which restores the right to vote for people with prior felony convictions. The Democratic Women’s Club of Flagler County welcomes members and all interested persons to attend.
