Details: The season of spring cleaning is upon us and for the Flagler County Public Library that means a lot of great books are being dropped off at the Library for resale. Proceeds from the sale go to support programs for children, youths and adults by the Friend’s of the Library. Paperbacks to hardbound editions and series collections will be on sale. All books are in good condition and marked well below wholesale prices, cash only.

Details: The city of Palm Coast, in partnership with the Palm Coast Observer, will present the second annual State of the City event, and the public is invited to attend. The event will feature an address by Palm Coast Mayor Milissa Holland. There is no charge to attend the address, but seating is limited. Doors will open at 3:30 p.m. This year’s theme is “One Palm Coast.” Mayor Holland will report on the "State of the City," highlighting the accomplishments of the city over the past year and sharing plans for 2019 and the vision for the future. Attendees will receive a copy of the Annual Progress Report. The Observer will host a ticketed reception to immediately follow the State of the City address. Guests will mingle, enjoy refreshments and receive a special State of the City favor. Details: The African American Cultural Society Inc. announces its annual Pyramid Players Golf Tournament, with a Best Ball Scramble Format. Special features include: putting contest, goodie bags, two mulligans, prizes for low gross and low net, closest to the pin, hole-in-one contest, 50/50 raffle and door prizes. Details: Jump on your ride, pack the convertible or roll with what you got. Regardless of your ride, join the Rotary Club of Palm Coast at the 2019 Helping Hands Charity Poker Run. Registration, along with continental breakfast, will begin at 9 a.m. at the Hilton Garden Inn in Palm Coast. The 100-mile Poker Run will depart promptly at 10 a.m. and proceed to the Cheyenne Saloon in Palatka, 3 Bananas in Crescent City, Annie Oakley’s in Ormond Beach and conclude at the Beach Front Grille in Flagler Beach for prizes, raffle drawings, 50/50 and entertainment. Prize for the winning hand will be $100 in cash. Rotary Club of Palm Coast is seeking event sponsors as well as raffle prizes.
