Thursday, Dec. 14

Public Menorah Lighting Ceremony and Celebration

When: 6:30 p.m.

Where: European Village 101 Palm Harbor Pkwy

Cost: Free

Details: Chabad of Palm Coast will ignite a public Hanukkah menorah followed by a community-wide celebration on the third night of the eight-day holiday. The event will feature Mayor Milissa Holland, a live concert by Rockin’ Rappin’ Reggae Rabbi Dr. Laz, latkes and doughnuts, face painting, a petting zoo, dreidel on stilts and more.

 

Celtic Angels Christmas

When: 7:30 p.m.

Where: Flagler Auditorium, 5500 State Road 100, Palm Coast

Cost: adult $39.95, youth $29.95

Details: This show encompasses vocal and instrumental seasonal favorites and Irish, contemporary and original Christmas themes with a Celtic twist. Visit flaglerauditorium.org. Call 437-7547.

 

“Four Women Show”

When: Dec. 8 to Jan. 9; Noon to 4 p.m. Monday-Friday, 10 a.m. to 1 p.m. Saturday

Where: Flagler County Art League, 160 Cypress Point Parkway, City Market Place Suite 207C

Cost: Free

Details: Presented by Gargiulo Art Foundation, the show features fiber artist Carol Baker, sculptor Patty Hillman, painter Trish Vevera and mixed media artist Judith Wormeck. Artists selected in GAF’s Art in Public Places theme show at FCAL by J.J. Graham.

 

Friday, Dec. 15

K9s for Warriors Fundraiser

When: 6-9 p.m.

Where: Hammock Wine and Cheese, 5368 N. Oceanshore Blvd., Palm Coast

Cost: Donations accepted

Details: The goal is to raise $20,000 to sponsor a dog for a veteran in need. Silent auction, food truck, wine, beer and music by Those Guys. Donations: Paypal.me/K9fundraiser.

 

Right Whale Talks

When: 5 p.m.

Where: Ocean Art Gallery, 206 Moody Blvd., Flagler Beach

Cost: Free

Details: Ocean Art Gallery owner Frank Gromling will present videos he made off Florida and Canada during his nearly 18 years of researching these large animals. Call 693-4882.

 

Saturday, Dec. 16

Right Whale Talks

When: 2 p.m.

Where: Grand Living Realty's Design Center, 2298 Colbert Lane

Holiday Boat Parade

When: 6 p.m.

Where: Intracoastal Waterway

Cost: No entry fee

Details: Registered boats will gather in Cimmaron Basin at 6 p.m. and head east to the Intracoastal Waterway, turn south passing Tidelands, Canopy Walk, St. Joe Walkway, Waterfront Park and Island Estates, then turn around at the Grand Haven Gazebo and head back to the Clubhouse Waterway. Palm Coast Mayor Milissa Holland will be the Grand Marshall and is set to proclaim Dec. 16 as Palm Coast Yacht Club Holiday Boat Parade Day. Boat captains can contact Parade Captain Robert Ulis at 283-5166 or [email protected] for registration forms. Rain date is Dec. 17.

 

Christmas Dinner Dance

When: 7-10 p.m.

Where: 51 Old Kings Road N., Palm Coast

Cost: $27.50 for non-members and $25 for members

Details: The Columbian Club of Flagler County will hold the dinner and dance that will include music by DJ Nota. Call 446-5632 for tickets. 

 

Thursday, Dec. 21

“Redneck Tenors: Christmas SPEC-TAC-YULE-AR”

Details: Those singing angels in the trailer park are packing their festive mullets and will be dashing through the snow just in time for some Christmas cheer. Visit flaglerauditorium.org. Call 437-7547.
