'Heathers The Musical'

When: 7 p.m. Friday; 2 p.m. and 7 p.m. Saturday; 2 p.m. Sunday 

Where: Flagler Playhouse, 301 E. Moody Blvd., Bunnell

Cost: $22

Details: "Heathers The Musical" is the darkly delicious story of Veronica Sawyer, a brainy, beautiful teenage misfit who hustles her way into the most powerful and ruthless clique at Westerberg High: the Heathers. As part of the Playhouse's outreach in the community, it provided the theater space to a young group called Spotlight Players, which is an independent entity. Saturday, June 23

FIFA World Cup watch party

When: starting at 11 a.m.

Where: Palm Coast Community Center, 305 Palm Coast Parkway NE

Cost: Free

Details: Kick off the FIFA World Cup right, and reserve a spot to see which of the 32 teams will be crowned world champion for the next four years. Fun, family activities will be provided. Watch Korea vs. Mexico at 11 a.m. and Germany vs. Sweden at 2 p.m. on the big screens. Create a bracket against other fans and pick your final two teams to see who wins. All ages are welcome. Regional Amateur Radio Clubs band together for Field Day

When: 2 p.m.

Where: Mala Compra Park Hammock Community Center, 79 Mala Compra Road

Details: This year, under the banner "CQ Florida," six area amateur radio clubs are joining together to exercise their emergency preparedness, to welcome and educate the public and to communicate around the world. Members of the Daytona Beach Amateur Radio Association, Flagler Emergency Communications Association, Flagler-Palm Coast Amateur Radio Club, Flagler County Assist REACT Team 4800, St. Augustine Amateur Radio Society and The American Legion Amateur Radio Club 5th District will be participating in the national 2018 ARRL Field Day exercise for 24 hours.

 

Sunday, June 24

Farm Animal Adventure Fest

When: noon to 6 p.m.

Where: Florida Agricultural Museum, 7900 Old Kings Road N.

Cost: $5 per person

Details: Family fun for all ages including baby animals, animal workshops, pony rides, live local folk music and more. At 1 p.m., there will be a farm animal parade, depending on participation. At 2 p.m., there will be a farm animal talent show, depending on participation. The public is welcome to sign up for this friendly competition, and there will be a four-judge panel awarding $100 for first prize, $50 for second prize and $25 for third prize to the act that brings the most laughs to the audience. Look Good, Feel Better class

When: 6-8 p.m.

Where: Florida Hospital Flagler, 60 Memorial Medical Parkway, Education Center, Classroom D

Cost: Free

Details: Designed for women experiencing hair loss and skin changes from chemotherapy and radiation, this class teaches women beauty techniques to restore their appearance and self-image during cancer treatments. RSVP is required. To register, call the American Cancer Society at (800) 227-2345.
