Saturday, April 28

A1A Cleanup

When: 7:30 a.m.

Where: Bing’s Landing, 5862 N. Ocean Shore Blvd.

Cost: Free

Details: Volunteer to pick up trash along A1A with the Hammock Community Association. Pick up gloves, vests, bags and equipment at the north pavilion. Drop off filled bags at northeast corner of 16th Road and A1A. Refreshments after. Contact Barbara and John Harper at 447-5805.

 

‘WaterSafe’ event

When: 9 a.m.

Where: Belle Terre Swim and Racquet Club, 73 Patricia Lane

Cost: Free

Details: Flagler County Emergency Services is partnering with Flagler County agencies and businesses to provide an education and fun day of water safety instruction for families and children. Swim diapers are required for children who are not potty trained.

 

Prescription Drug Take-Back Day

When: 10 a.m. to 2 p.m.

Where: Publix locations and FCSO Palm Coast office

Cost: Free

Details: Residents can stop by any of the sites, empty the medication from its container into the collection box, and then drive away. No personal information is required. Drop sites will accept any expired or unwanted prescription, over-the-counter medications, vitamins or herbal remedies and veterinary medications. Hypodermic needles and syringes will not be accepted. Locations are as follows: FCSO Palm Coast District Office, 160 Cypress Point Pkwy, Suite C107; Publix at Palm Coast Town Center, 800 Belle Terre Parkway; Publix at Belle Terre Crossings, 4950 Belle Terre Parkway; and Publix at Island Walk at Palm Coast, 250 Palm Coast Parkway N.E. 

 

‘Menopause The Musical’

When: 7:30 p.m.

Where: Flagler Auditorium, 5500 E. Highway 100

Cost: Tickets are $39.95

Details: GFour Productions, winner of 44 Tony Awards and 54 Drama Desk Awards, proudly brings the international hit show “Menopause The Musical” to Flagler Auditorium for one performance only. Saturday, May 5

Palm Coast Arbor Day

When: 9 a.m. to 2 p.m.

Where: Central Park in Town Center, 975 Central Ave.

Cost: Free admission and activities; vendors available for purchase

Details: VertiFit Aerial Arts will perform at 10:30 a.m., a native butterfly release will be at 11 a.m. at center stage and Sunshine Mafia Band will perform at 11:30 a.m. There will be crafts, a petting zoo, hay bale maze and more. Visit palmcoastgov.com/arborday.
