Bunnell man jailed, hospitalized after kicking in windshield

An irate Bunnell man kicked in the windshield of a victim’s car June 19. As a result, he was hospitalized and then jailed.

According to the report from the Bunnell Police Department, Jessie Allen Estrep, 22, got into an argument with the victim, who locked herself in her room out of fear.

He kicked down the door, then exited the home and began jumping on the hood of the victim’s car. He kicked in the windshield and drove down State Street, in Bunnell, according to the report.

When law enforcement found him in Ormond Beach, they discovered he was being transported to Halifax Medical Center for the injuries he sustained kicking down the door and breaking the windshield.

After he was cleared from the hospital, he was transported to the Flagler County Inmate Facility on two felony charges (grand theft auto and criminal mischief) and two misdemeanors (battery domestic violence and petit theft second degree).
