Body found near Wal-Mart

The body of 34-year-old Corey Nichols was found in the woods near Wal-Mart around 9:15 a.m., about 45 minutes after he was reported missing.

UPDATE:
The body found this morning has been identified as Corey Nichols, of Cooper Lane, Palm Coast, who was reported missing at 8:35 this morning.

The Medical Examiner has determined it was an accidental death.

Flagler County Sheriff’s Office deputies are currently on scene where a man’s body was discovered around 9:15 a.m. today in a wooded area on the westside of Wal-Mart, on Cypress Point Parkway in Palm Coast, according to a press release by the Sheri

The body is believed to belong to a 34-year-old man who was reported missing around
8:35 a.m. today.

At this time, the death is suspicious but foul play is not suspected. Investigators have not confirmed the identity of the body and the Medical Examiner’s Office has been called in to assist, the press release states.
