Since finishing her residency in 2007, Dr. Elizabeth Chandler has dreamed of opening her own medical practice.
She finally got that opportunity, opening Chandler Medical in July. The practice — which specializes in physical medicine, rehabilitation and interventional pain management — is a 1,400-square-foot facility located at 2 Pine Lakes Parkway in Palm Coast. The practice has a variety of different therapies and laser treatments.
Chandler moved to Palm Coast in 2015. She previously worked for Sterling Medical Group in Winter Park and is still transitioning away from that practice. Sterling Medical is where she gained clinical and administrative experience, giving her the confidence to branch out on her own.
Of finally realizing her dream of opening her own facility, Chandler said: "It feels amazing. I've wanted this for 12 years."
Innovative Financial Solutions, a leading financial services firm, announced its new location in Palm Coast, according to a news release. The new office is the first to open in the Creekside at Grand Haven office/retail complex, located at 4 Concorde Lane, Suite 1.
A full solar electric with battery back up and geothermal heating and cooling are but a few of the amenities in the new building. The complex is also one of the first commercial developments in Palm Coast to offer electric vehicle charging stations.

Total assets were $326.3 million up $11.6 million from 2017.
Total loans were $219.6 million, up $21 million.
Total deposits were $294.3 million, up $9 million.
Net income for the full year increased by 14% from 2017.
