Grand Living Realty opened a sales office in Flagler Beach, CEO/managing broker Lindsay Dolamore announced via a press release.
The office is on the second floor of 316 Oceanshore Blvd.
“We’re happy to have expanded into Flagler Beach in this beautiful new space,” Dolamore said in a release. “This expansion is an opportunity for Grand Living Realty to develop our sales team out of this oceanfront office, and we look forward to growing our sales team to help us better serve our buyers and sellers along the coastline.”
Intracoastal Bank will celebrate 10 years in business this year, according to CEO Bruce Page.
Celebrations will take place throughout the year and will culminate in a ribbon-cutting ceremony and open house on Oct. 10. The bank began celebrating last month at its annual shareholders’ meeting.
The bank achieved three major milestones by the end of the first quarter of 2018: total deposits reached more than $300 million, total loans exceeded $200 million and total loan production for life to date surpassed $400 million.
“As we celebrate our 10-year milestone, I’d like to thank our board of directors, shareholders, associates and clients to whom we owe this tremendous success in becoming the premier community bank in our market and a top performer in the country,” Page said in a release. “I’m inspired by their commitment and passion and look forward to the next decade and beyond serving this wonderful community.”
April 5, 2018, was Gretchen Smith’s last day with the Flagler County Chamber of Commerce, Smith announced via an email to the Observer.
Smith, the former director of marking and communications for the Chamber, accepted a position with the Department of Health – Flagler. She will serve as the DOH’s public information officer/public health communications manager.
Smith worked for the Chamber for almost 10 years.
Joel Fallon, the owner of the local “Granny Nannies” franchise, awarded scholarships to two students at Old Kings Elementary School so that they can attend a week of camp at Camp Winona, according to a release.
Both of the children have Type 1 diabetes. Florida Diabetes Camps have direct supervision of pediatric endocrinologists from across the state who volunteer their time. Campers also have 24-hour supervision by trained counselors. In addition, campers also learn about managing their diabetes.
Fallon joined Joe Rizzo, executive director of the Flagler County Education Foundation, in making the donation.
This year’s camp at the YMCA Camp Winona is split into two sessions by age group. They are July 15-22 and July 28-Aug. 4.
Caliber Collision, the largest collision repair company in the country, is asking its customers, business partners and the public to donate grocery bags full of food during its seventh-annual Rhythm Restoration Food Drive, according to a press release.
Caliber Collision is asking people to “fill ‘er up” until May 11. Donations will help stock the shelves of Feeding Northeast Florida during the summer months when many children, who rely on school lunches, go hungry when school is out.
“We’re asking our communities to help us fill local food banks and fill those kids’ tanks, so they do not spend the summer running on empty,” said Steve Grimshaw, Caliber Collision CEO, in a release. “At Caliber, our purpose is to restore the rhythm of life for our customers and we are equally committed to help restore the rhythm of regular meals for at-risk children over the summer.”
