+The Wall Street Journal features Palm Coast home
A local property was featured as House of the Day on Aug. 23, on The Wall Street Journal’s website. The 5,300-square-foot home was built in 2001 by Walter and Barbara Arzonetti. It’s valued at $1.69 million.

Inside, the four-bedroom, 4.5-bathroom home features stone and Brazilian cherry hardwood throughout, and outside, it features a dock on the Intracoastal Waterway.

+Vince Carter Sanctuary announces new executive director
Bunnell-based Vince Carter Sanctuary, which has provided detoxification, residential, day treatment and outpatient services for three years, named James W. Griffis its new executive director.

Griffis has more than 30 years of experience in addiction and mental health services. He also served in the U.S. Navy for 22 years while earning a bachelor of arts in behavioral sciences with a major in chemical dependency and a master of arts degree in behavioral health psychology. He spent his final five years in the Navy as a certified alcohol treatment specialist before working in the mental health field with national and international organizations. Call 800-478-0331.

+100 Plus Realty Group recognizes employees
Jeff Fisher, Realtor for 100 Plus Realty Group was honored with the Listing Agent Award for the month of July. Linda Greene was also named salesperson of the month for July.

+TouchPoint Alliance launches new mobile application
Palm Coast business TouchPoint Alliance helps colleges and universities move their printed publications into the digital age with embedded video, live RSS feeds, social media sharing and analytics. The business, whose CEO is Palm Coast resident Howard Holley, just launched a new mobile application, which was picked up by Kent State University in Ohio.

+New title company launches in Palm Coast
Meridian Title Agency LLC has opened to serve real estate buyers and sellers in the area. Licensed Talent Agent Britan Harrison said the service aims to “bring a concierge level of service to the closing table.”

The company offers title research and clear title generation, title repair consultation, escrow and closing services. The company works in conjunction with Southern States Management Group Inc. Call 446-8840.

+Intracoastal Bank recognized
After five years of membership to the Independent Community of Bankers of America, Palm Coast’s Intracoastal Bank was recognized for upholding the community-focused banking that the ICBA champions. Cheryl Tanenbaum, senior vice president of Intracoastal Bank, said the bank looks forward to continuing its membership with ICBA and its local focus.

  • Hammock Home Improvements was issued a $1,100 permit for an alteration to 37 Riviera Estates.
  • Aluminum Creations was issued a $4,600 permit for an alteration to 102 Pritchard Drive.
  • Grodi Terri Inc. was issued a $6,500 permit for an alteration to 19 Llama Trail.
  • New Coastal Homes was issued a $287,000 permit for a single-family residence at 19 Farson Lane.
