+ Alpha Pregnancy Center opens thrift store in Bunnell
Alpha Pregnancy Center, the nonprofit crisis pregnancy clinic, has opened a thrift store in Bunnell, in the South Side Business Park, at 4751 East Moody Blvd. Founded in 1999, the center provides more than 900 services to approximately 165 women each year — including material aid and help with adoption options. + Office Divvy first to join Green Chamber of the South
The Northeast Florida Green Chamber recruited its first Palm Coast business member recently in Office Divvy. + 25-year real estate vet returns to Grand Haven
Patsy Moden, who began her Palm Coast real estate career in 1986, has rejoined the sales team at Grand Haven, having previously worked for the company in the mid-1990s. Moden worked in sales for ITT Community Development from 1988 to 1995.
+ Clymer Funeral dedicates building to fallen soldier
Recent Bunnell-to-Palm Coast transplant Clymer Funeral Home and Cremation will be dedicating its new building — which was once Heiser Realty, on 39 Old Kings Road — to Michael Heiser, Air Force Tech Sergeant, who was recently killed in the line of duty. Son of Heiser Realty owner Gary Heiser, Michael will receive a plaque in his honor, which will be installed into the storefront.
Clymer Funeral Home is a family-run business. The new Palm Coast location is four times the size of the previous Bunnell branch and houses two chapels and an onsite crematory. Ken Clymer has been in the funeral business 29 years.
