+ O’Brien appointed to Florida Chamber group
The Florida Chamber Foundation announced Donald O’Brien Jr., of Flagler County, has been selected to serve on the Six Pillars Caucus System.

O’Brien will join other leaders from across the state to help craft the first statewide strategic plan as part of the Business Climate and Competitiveness Caucus.

The Six Pillars Caucus System is a qualitative research program to develop a plan for Florida’s future economy, including high-wage jobs, global competitiveness and vibrant communities, by 2030. The program launched in 2010, and the first draft of the plan will be finalized this year.

“I look forward to contributing to this essential planning process on behalf of Flagler County and the state,” said O’Brien, who has 30 years’ experience in banking and insurance.
