+ New ‘green’ home earns six certifications
Florida Green Homes, LLC president, Jeff Vasilevskiy, announced that another Certified Green Platinum Level Home is under construction at 25 Emerald Lake Court.
It will be the first house to receive six certificates from different organizations: Environmental Protection Agency; Florida Green Building Coalition (highest points in energy and water savings); Florida Power and Light; Energy Star; Water Star and the University of Florida will also certify this home as a Silver Level of Florida Yards Neighborhood Program. + Chamber introduces Leadership Flagler XIX
The Flagler County Chamber of Commerce & Affiliates has announced the participants of its leadership-development program, Leadership Flagler, which will begin its 19th session Saturday, April 1, with a dinner at Blue at the Topaz Motel.
Partipants are Shelley Chapman, of Preferred Management Services; Carla Cline; Cindy Dalecki, of Marketing 2 Go; David Fowler, of Alliance Financial Partners Inc.; Rachel Gilbert, of RBC Bank; Jason Johnson, of Marlin Consulting; Grady Meeks, of Lux Communications LLC; Mari Molina, of Flagler Cats; Sandra Mullen, of Alliance Financial Partners Inc.; and Gretchen Smith, of the chamber.
According to the chamber’s newsletter, “Leadership Flagler boasts nearly 200 graduates who have gone on to take leadership roles in the community.”

+ Business After Hours: March 17, at Finn’s
The Flagler County Chamber of Commerce & Affiliates will sponsor a Business After Hours meeting at Finn’s Beachside Pub, 101 N. Oceanshore Blvd., Flagler Beach, from 5:30 to 7:30 p.m. Thursday, March 14.
The event is an opportunity for local businesspeople to meet their neighbors.
Chamber members will be admitted with a $5 donation to restock Flagler County food pantries. Non-members are welcome with a $10 donation.
