The Best Advice I Ever Got: Tony Benvenuto

A couple of months ago while attending my Sunday morning service at Palm Coast Community Church, Tony Putnam, who is the youth pastor, said something that I wish I had heard many years ago:

“It’s our direction, and not our intentions, that determines our destination.”

As a teacher, I see and deal every day with young adults who have the best intentions in the world, and although I believe they truly want to accomplish certain things, most of the time they are not on the right path. If they can grasp this concept, it would save them and their parents a lot of heartaches.
