A few weeks after the opening of Palm Coast's first medical marijuana dispensary, a CBD store held a soft opening to the public on Friday, Sept. 28.
Your CBD Store Palm Coast, located at 160 Cypress Point Parkway, Suite A105, is hoping to have a grand opening by Friday, Oct. 5. CBD stands for cannabidiol, a naturally occurring cannabinoid constituent of cannabis. Its uses include managing pain, inflammation, anxiety, depression and so on.
However, it is not the same as medical marijuana. Medical marijuana dispensaries require their customers to have a medical marijuana card and a prescription. Your CBD does not because there is not THC in their products.
"It's all the medical benefits without the high," Store Owner Jessica Warner said.
Jessica Warner and her husband, Allen Warner, who serves as the store's manager, commute to the store every day from Jacksonville. They hope to move to Palm Coast by next summer.
"We chose this area because I was familiar with Palm Coast, and we loved the area," Allen Warner. "This is where we wanted to move the family to so we could start our new business."
