The Tractor Supply Store is open, and dirt is moving on the site of the Aldi Grocery Store and Starbucks.
A construction permit was issued for the Aldi Grocery store at the Shoppes at Palm Coast, 5095 State Road 100, for $1,200,000.
Starbucks has applied for $225,000 custom construction, also at the Shoppes of Palm Coast. A second permit for $730,000 was applied for at 216 Palm Coast Parkway NE, at Island Walk.
Starbucks confirmed the Island Walk Shopping Center store would be renovated, with construction beginning this spring, and reopened in the fall. The renovated store will have a drive-through. A temporary Starbucks would be opened to continue serving customers, though they did not reveal where that would be.
Starbucks did not provide details on the store in the Shoppes at Palm Coast.

“We have been fortunate to enjoy 10 years serving the floral, plant and landscape needs of Flagler, St. Johns and Volusia County homeowners and businesses,” said owner Janine Regina. “We are grateful to all of our customers that have been shopping with us for the past 10 years, and everyone that continues to support us,” she added.

Flagler Beach Gift Shop donated $ 503.10 to Christmas Come True of Flagler County. The gift shop is one of the many local small businesses along A1A that were impacted by Hurricane Matthew in Oct. of 2016.
Flagler Beach Gift Shop owner, Michelle Brown, said that when she returned to Flagler Beach post-evacuation she felt not just a need to get her own business re-opened and residence repaired… she also felt a need to aid her community and fellow residents who had suffered even worse set-backs due to the storm. The donation was raised by the gift shop through the sale of “I Survived Hurricane Matthew 2016” t-shirts, where a portion of the sales were donated to the charity.
The check was presented by Michelle to Nadine King, director of the charity, after the annual strategic planning meeting for the Flagler County Chamber of Commerce.
