Chris Hickey, of Matanzas High School, and Jonathan Weaver, of Flagler Palm Coast High School, were selected as the Flagler/Palm Coast Kiwanis Club’s Seniors of the Month for February. Each received a Senior of the Month certificate and a contribution for their personal college funds in recognition of their academic achievement and participation and volunteerism.
Hickey, son of Thomas and Jamie Hickey, is the president of the school choir and is a member of the band and Future Problem Solvers. He is the arranger and composer for the men’s a cappella group at Matanzas. He volunteers in the community choir and theater. Hickey plans to attend Stetson University and major in music education.
Weaver, son of Steven and Kathleen Weaver, is president of the National Honor Society, president of the Youth Center Student Advisory Council, and has recorded more than 1,200 volunteer hours. He enjoys playing his guitar. Weaver plans to attend the University of West Florida and major in English.

Divine Treasures expands to 2,000-square-foot storefront

Divine Treasures is now having a moving sale. As of May 29, it will reopen in a 2,000-square-foot storefront at 5 Utility Drive, Suite 10, sandwiched between Colletti's and Los Amigos. The ribbon cutting will be 4 p.m. June 7, almost exactly on the one-year anniversary. -
BREAKING: Bank of America robbed on Belle Terre Parkway

The Flagler County Sheriff’s Office is currently working a bank robbery that occurred at 11:17 a.m.at Bank of America at 4850 Belle Terre Parkway in Palm Coast.
