Wrestler Mick “Mankind” Foley, who lived in Palm Coast at the time of taping, will be featured on the next episode of ABC’s “Celebrity Wife Swap,” airing 9 p.m. Tuesday, Jan. 31.
The setting will be familiar to Flagler County residents; it was filmed here.
Foley, who swapped wives with Antonio Sabato Jr. for the show, was given a makeover by local establishments.
Celia Whitefield, of New Beginnings Hair Salon, cut off his long har and colored his beard before Gabriel Shuler, of Straight Heat Barber Shop, shaved and trimmed his beard. Dr. Jeremiah Mahoney, of Flagler Dental Associates also participated in the makover process by giving Foley veneers.
“It was an honor to have a celebrity come to the salon,” said Whitefield, who gathered the team of makeover participants. “It was an exciting experience.”
