The Florida Times-Union and Flagler County Public Schools will join together to host the 2013 Flagler County Spelling Bee for fifth- through eighth-grade students 6 p.m. Tuesday, Jan. 15, at Buddy Taylor Middle School. Approximately 20 school finalists will compete for the title of Flagler County Spelling Bee Champion.
“This annual tradition among Flagler students allows us to emphasize that our high student expectations continue, that we focus on academic excellence and achievement, and that we reward and celebrate student successes,” said Sabrina Crosby, Flagler Schools project coordinator.
