Richard Paladino, 44, had been drinking heavily when his mother called the Flagler County Sheriff’s Office around 7:39 a.m. to report he had fired a gun in the house, according to deputies.

Kenneth Peters, 20, of 59 Westchester Lane, was arrested Monday evening on a warrant in connection with the Jan. 31 attack of a 60-year-old man, at the European Village.
FAA bill approved; hope still alive to keep Palm Coast facility

Long-term FAA legislation sponsored by Transportation Committee Chairman John L. Mica was approved by the Senate Feb. 6. That's one more step in the process to allow Palm Coast to enter the competitive bid system to keep its FAA training facility in town, saving up to 110 jobs.

High School students donate to breast cancer patients

The Flagler Palm Coast High School Future Business Leaders of America class donated $580 to Florida Hospital Flagler Foundation’s breast cancer fund, which provides screening mammograms, diagnostic studies and education to local qualified women who are uninsured and seeking assistance. -
