11:06 a.m. — 300 Block of Lakeview Boulevard. Criminal Mischief. A maintenance worker stated that a padlock at his business had been broken off, and there was a small fire set inside.
The lock that was broken was not on the scene any more, and the worker advised he had put a new one on before the responding officer’s arrival. There was no damage done and nothing missing.
Both parties agreed that the fire, which was made of small twigs, appeared to have been made to keep someone warm at night. Fingerprints could not be obtained.

A white male with black hair, wearing black shorts, entered the sliding door of the residence. Upon arrival, units set up a perimeter surrounding the residence. The suspect then exited through the front door, where he was secured for officer safety purposes.
