Chabad Hebrew School is now accepting new students for the 2023/2024 academic year.

The Chabad Hebrew School (CHS) is an interactive, hands-on Hebrew Sunday school that offers children ages 5-12 the opportunity to explore their heritage in an engaging and exciting manner, according to a press release.

“Chabad Hebrew School brings Judaism to life!” said Mrs. Tzivie Ezagui, educational director. “Our curriculum is designed to inspire your child with a love for our traditions.”

Each lesson incorporates hands-on activities. Students will learn about Jewish practices, history, culture and Hebrew reading and language skills.

The Aleph Champ Hebrew reading curriculum is modeled after the karate system, with students advancing through a range of color-coded levels, according to the press release.

“Our warm and loving staff create a comfortable and friendly environment where your child will thrive,” Ezagui said, according to the press release. “Small classes provide a personalized experience for each and every student.”

Classes are held from 10 a.m. to noon on Sundays.

Chabad invites all Jewish children, regardless of background or affiliation. Membership is not a requirement, and no family will be turned away for lack of funds.
