A no-cost seminar and luncheon will be held for women at 11:30 a.m. June 7, at Florida Hospital Flagler’s education center. Gynecologists Steven Brown and Karen Toppi will speak about common women’s health issues as well as contemporary treatment options at the event, which is free to the public and includes a meal. + Palm Harbor Academy now offering voluntary pre-kindergarten summer program
Charter school Palm Harbor Academy announced that it is now offering a free voluntary pre-kindergarten program over the summer.
“At Palm Harbor Academy, we’re about more than just teaching basic curriculum,” said Principal Esther Hamilton. “We are about making sure that every child is given the necessary tools they need to succeed in all aspects of life.”
Palm Harbor Academy is preparing 4 year olds for success, all while offering free enrollment, transportation and a uniform.
All Florida residents who have a child that turns 4 years old by Sept. 1 are eligible to participate in Florida's free voluntary pre-kindergarten education program.

Saltwater Homes Inc. invites the community to join in celebrating our grand opening of its Bordeaux model home from 4-6 p.m. May 30, at 143 Florida Park Drive, in Palm Coast. It won the the 2013 Flagler County Parade of Homes Grand Award.
+ Local attends international summit
Denise Palumbo, manager of the Palm Coast branch of Travel Leaders, joined 50 other Travel Leaders VIPs from throughout the United States to attend Travel Leaders’ 14th International Summit in Cape Town, South Africa. The summit was held April 12-14 and allowed Palumbo the opportunity to explore the area’s tourism offerings.
