Someone shot out the front window of the Cody's Corner Country Store in Bunnell in the early morning hours of May 22.

A burglar alarm went off at about 2:47 a.m. and a deputy arrived at the store at the intersection of State Road 11 and County Road 304 and noted a bullet hole in the front window, but didn't know if the damage was new or old, according to a Flagler County Sheriff's Office report.

Store staff told deputies at about 9:15 a.m. that the bullet hole was new. The bullet seemed to have passed through a jar of pickles and through shelves inside the store, but deputies couldn't find the bullet itself, according to a Commander's Log entry.

The store had surveillance video showing a vehicle pull into the parking lot around the time the alarm went off.
